Norman, we too had a few years together before you met Glynis. Ours was not to be, but there are some memories which could be shared. You losing your wedding ring on the train 4 hours after we got married, that's an omen if ever there was one! A dreadful holiday when we decided to take both sets of in-laws with us in a mini van down to Cornwall. Nobody could agree on anything for the whole week! You chasing an enormous spider down the hallway of our first flat whilst I watched in terror from a bedroom wearing my dressing gown and a pair of wellingtons just in case it ran my way. Going to play golf on a local golf course, me on the back of your motorbike, then a set of golf clubs wedged between us, then you. Thank you for your kindness towards my parents, especially as my dad wasn't well when we got married. Thanks Norman for your kindness and humour. I'm so pleased we managed to stay on good terms after things moved on. At least we managed to catch up at every family function! Others will have much more recent memories and not such elderly ones from the 70s!! All my friends in Lincoln have passed me their condolences as well. RIP
